I use a die and a 20-ton press to create the raised quilted (pyramid) pattern on the body of the pendant, the scrolling design of the bezel and the pattern on the bail .pressing the designs deeply, compressing the metal so it lasts longer and holds up better than casting or surface techniques like engraving. The antiqued finish darkens the recessed areas, (especially of the quilted design) over time, creating bold strong contrast against the warm copper tones. This pendant measures approximately 37mm × 30mm.
