I make these from the punched center of a copper penny and the band is made from recycled 3/8th copper tubing. The band is chunky at approximately 1/2 inch wide and really captures the attention. This looks great on men and on women who like chunky jewelry. They look nice shined up or allow the copper to patina for an antiqued look.
